the blender

the blender wishes for life to go,

but does not have the courage to take it on

his/her own.

not wanting to leave any remaining

family or friends

in a pool of tragedy,

s/he chooses to lose him/herself in

him/her

work---

and the more work that s/he does,

the more the time alone, away from the work

will be lessened,

shortened, so as to burn the candle at both ends---

for the blender wants all the moments working to

increase,

and for the life to be mechanistic,

mixing one day into the next so quickly

that even the borders between weeks & months,

days & nights,

fade away---

s/he has nothing to feed the eyes but

the repetition of the work &

this alone promises

a slow suicide,

which no one may notice in this country

because to everyone watching,

s/he seems like such a good citizen

who just keeps his/her nose to the grindstone

perpetually.
