bluffing Iran (and so the policeman gets its way)

the world’s policeman held Iran’s neck

with both hands

strangling,

wringing its neck like a fucking wet towel,

squeezing every drop of possibility of

self-determination

with the forcing of sanctions &

the constant,

relentless,

threat of military action &

that is before you even consider

the fucking nutcase

Netanyahu & his

trigger-happy government,

who will no doubt strike in the future

for some reason &

the words typed in invisible ink

between the lines of Kerry’s

tough talk,

will inevitably

come to light.

meanwhile,

we watch on our screens

the staging of this “nuclear deal,”

which Kerry has to remind us again & again

that “it will be very difficult,”

as if no one in the

international community

(which he continues to repeat, as if everyone agreed

with what the policeman says, as opposed to just being

fucking scared of the US-Israel military might)

has any idea

that the only reason that any talk is even being done

is in order to keep a country under constant threat of

violence by the strongest military in the world &

its little brother

at

bay,

under the cop’s thumb &

under the cop’s

control.
