Hold your head up ..

Persuaded a man to try a shirt,
a 'slim fit' type that skimmed his girth.

He wanted something sludgy grey
to melt into the wall each day.

His face was puffy, pale and sad
with spots an' warts and hair bright red.

But it's my job to make men seem
they'd stepped out from a magazine.

With obvious terror, fear and shame,
his bulk was making him remain
a shy, reserved and slinking mess,
that's something l can sort, address.

There's not a man or body huge,
that with direction, can feel his groove.

The trick is not to hide away,
but love your wobbles every day.

A decent pair of jeans and jacket,
t-shirt underneath, you've cracked it.

My ginger friend was real delighted,
blue checked shirt, posture highlighted.

Everyone should feel inside
a sense of beauty, love and pride ..
