The truth boils inside me
a cauldron of fire -
it seeks to free itself from life's desires
it's song to sing, to free it from the mire

beware if you stand in the way
a bit of truth you don't want to hear
may find a pathway to your door
and bite you on the ear.

It may teardown some earthly fears
and again it may produce some tears
but one thing is certain
once loosened it will soar until it finds you

down some lonely road
when you least suspect
from within your own heart
the truth will detect

a weakness it will find
and want to enter in
so let truth have it's way
