Captured by Love (Part 1)

Amelia looked at the clock. It was 2:49 P.M. She watched her teacher write on the chalkboard about who knows what. Amelia wasn’t paying attention. Usually she would be taking notes right now but today was different. Today would be her first day of her job; she was excited. It wasn’t one of the best jobs in the world but it was still a job. She was working at the Cinema.

School was soon over and Amelia met up with her friends, Jelly, Terry, and Heather. Their boyfriends were also there: Jordan (Jelly’s boyfriend); Brian (Terry’s bf) and Diego (Heather’s bf).

“Hey guys did you hear that Tyler Holmes is coming to our school?” Terry asked excitedly.

“Yeah I heard,” Jelly said, “Isn’t that exciting?”

The boys rolled their eyes. Jordan took hold of Jelly’s hands, “Hey babe don’t forget you’re taken by somebody better than Tyler, the ME.”

Jelly smiled at her boyfriend and said, “Don’t worry Jordan I won’t dump you for him. I heard that he’s a jerk anyways.”

Amelia cut in. “Who’s Tyler anyways?”

Everybody looked at Amelia like she was the craziest person in the world.

“He’s William Holmes’s son. William is the richest person like in the universe,” Heather said shaking her head in disbelief.

“I thought Bill Gates was the richest man on earth,” Brian said.

“Shut up dope, you know what I meant,” Heather said slapping Brian’s back. “I need to go. I’m babysitting today. Diego you coming to my house?”

Diego nodded and walked towards Heather. They both walked away and Diego squeezed her butt. Heather giggled.

“I have to go too guys,” Amelia said and waved a goodbye.

Amelia looked over the counter at her first customers. It was a mother with two young kids. “What would you like mam?” Amelia asked smiling.

“Mom I want popcorn, soda, skittles, nerds, and Hershey bar,” one of the boys said.

“I want the same too,” the other boy said.

The mother shook her head. “Children you are only getting pop corn and soda.”

“But mommy I want at least skittles.”

The mother sighed embarrassedly. “I would like two bags of popcorn, two cups of soda, and a bag of skittles please.”

Amelia nodded and in a few seconds she gave the mother her order.

“I want to carry the skittles,” one of the boys said and slapped his brother across his face.

“Mommy he hit me.”

The mother separated them.

“Hey beautiful, “ said a boy with brown hair, brown eyes, and well built

Amelia smiled, “Hello, Jeremy what are you doing here?”

“Seeing my girlfriend on her first day of the job,” Jeremy answered and winked at her.

“That’s nice of you, “ Amelia said.

“Don’t I get a kiss?” Jeremy asked making a sad face.

“Fine,” Amelia said and leaned over the counter for a kiss. Jeremy kissed her softly.

Amelia pushed away though. “Jeremy I have people to serve.”

“Ohh they can wait. Don’t they see that we’re making love right now,” Jeremy said complaining.

Amelia sighed. “Look why don’t you meet me at my house tonight. I’ll be there in a few hours allright?”

Jeremy nodded and winked at her. “Love you babe.”

Amelia parked her old blue Grandam car in her driveway. She went in the house and saw a note on the table.

Hey sweety, I’m going to come home late tonight. I got a conference. Dinner in the refrigerator; I made spaghetti and I didn’t burnt it this time. Enjoy. Love you. Your favorite Dad.

Amelia threw the note in the garbage and got a can of Pepsi from the refrigerator. She went in her room to find Jeremy laying on her bed watching the television.

“Hey Jeremy,” she said.

Jeremy got up and gave his great smile again. “Hey Amelia. So am I going to get a proper kiss now?”

Amelia rolled her eyes. “Jeremy life isn’t only about sexual stuff.”

Jeremy ignored her and wrapped his arms around her. “I love you Amelia. I can’t stop myself from expressing my feeling toward you.”

“There are other ways to express your feelings towards me,” Amelia answered.

“You mean like this,” Jeremy said and started kissing her cheeks. Then her lips and neck. He touched her breast and pulled the collar of her t-shirt down to kiss her nipples.

Amelia was just about to let in but she pushed away. “Jeremy. I think we’re going to fast.”

“Why babe? Are you afraid or something? I can wear a condom, you wont get pregnant.”

Amelia looked away. “It’s just going too fast.”
