I am the wind
you are the dust,
you were the death that gave me life.
I am the golden pink dawn
after a long visionless night.
I am the world warmed.
I am that rejoicing bird
flying over your grave.
I am the sun
above the black valleys
from which I rose.
I am the lightness
you couldn't hold.
You were the darkness
exposed.
