Dad's Watch ?
Alpha and Omega the beginning and the ending
His last words, "take care of Mam"
At the end he slipped away easily
A lone tear rolled down his cheek
Dad's watch was left to me
An Omega the watch now mine
It's hard to leave one's mark on life
Omega the upturned horseshoe sign
Truly the mark of time
It reminds me of a strong man
Patient, unassuming gentleman
It could be said Dad left his mark on me
Omega the mark of time
Alpha to Omega
First to last a strong but fine gentle man.
