Holding back????
Past makes present freeze future
Boils the now to curtail the maybe.
If only I didn't look back, then the moment wouldn't go and
Whimsically I might
Leave it behind and make a
Step forward without a glimpse over my
Shoulder, that double guesses, doesn't
regret, bites the bullet and progresses
How I dream and wake up to find it was a
nightmare. That is my life.
The wish, only three not more,
Less I will settle for.
Oh for a positive mindset, (or that silver spoon).
Then I could look forward (and make sense of myself)
