J - Alone on a bench

Alone on the bench, her bench. A place she goes to, to be at peace.
It is as if the grass and flowers sing to her a calming
lullaby, "Hush now, it's alright". The stones give strength while the
building gives focus and purpose.
As she sits and contemplates the greenery's gentle swaying in
the breeze, she feels lighter, calmer.
"I will let the tension roll by me, around me, over and
through me. I am like the willow, I will bend. When all is calm I shall
remain."
Occasionally, she smiles, watching the antics of the birds,
squirrels and dogs. She thinks of her lover - the warmth of his
embrace, his morning scent, the first smile of the morning. She smiles
and allows her senses to let go and return to now.
Life can be a meditation - "I will let the tension roll by
me?." It becomes a song. Her inner voice takes up the refrain, "I shall
remain?."
