Oh dear, I'm full of snot.

I've even got it up me bot.

Helpless as a baby, in year dot.

I should do something, but I know not wot.

The yanks may say "get a shot".

But I can't stand guns (or not a lot).

I could moan in misery, like a clot.

Or drink some whisky, just a tot.

Or remain in bed, and leave the world behind...

All in all, best forgot.

I know how you feel. Sometimes I could squeal. Instead I'm wed to the telly, instead.

But better still, the whole damned lot.

 

I'm no doctor but I've noticed that whenever I find myself in that awful oozing, febrile state, a nice bit of bodily dehydration does the trick. The whiskey soon dries up the snot so I don't need so many tissues, which leads me to believe that with each small glass I'm helping the planet.
