There's a next door row between Heather and Hugh.

Oh! And the telly's broken, right on cue.

The fire is spitting, and we've a freezing loo.

The world is different....

It's not yet called poo.

the good old days, I remember then well-ish.

We've got exactly the same only it's not stew it is "braaivleis" (barbeque) the women in the kitchen all giggling and gossiping. The two laws of the sfrikaner are:

1. There is always too much food

2. there is never enough booze.
