Primary Introduction

Hi.

I'm new here, but have been at the mad scribbling game since I could grip a pen. I was invited to this fine site by my friend, The Walrus. He may be onto something. Like him, I enjoyed the whims and vagaries of WriterFace and was well-dismayed when it disappeared with a digital poof! I've had a chance to read a few items here and, while I'm sure there must be some dreck here somewhere, everything I've read so far has rocked my socks. Odd.

For what it's worth, my grande opus is a series of self-indulgent novels known collectively as The Chronicles Of The Auto-Generator. I play with poetry, dabble in music, am trained as a photographer and hold a long series of mercurial and contradictary opinions.

I've been playing with music more than words of late, a compensation for a long and torturous adventure into the realms of digital self-publishing. Eesh. In any case, what I've read so far has jump-started that literary spark that I thought long-extinguished (okay, in all fairness, my literary muse pops off for a vacation every few years, leaving me naked and wailing and convinced I'll never, ever, never write again, I quit, I give up, gonna chuck it in and then they'll be sorry...Writers really are a miserable and petulant lot. So pleased to be among them again). Nonetheless, I'm gonna keep playing with music, it's an interest counterpoint to the literary arts.
