Sixty Minutes in Summer

Sitting on the bank of a somewhere river
crushing dappled grass by the house boats.
Eating smoked trout from plastic envelopes,
salty oil coating our fingers. Laughing when
renegade fish flakes slip from our grasp
tracing teardrop stains on our t-shirts.
Northern heatwaves can be fun.
Cheap Chardonnay goes with everything.

Pick of the Day
Yes, definitely sounds like the place to be at the moment. And the advice in the last line is spot on. This is our Facebook and Twitter Pick of the Day! Please do share/retweet if you enjoy it too.

Whoop! Whoop! Whoop!
Whoop! Whoop! Whoop!
Cracked this one, Ed.
Spirit of the moment and the stains of realism on our favourite summer clothes.
Thanks for lifting the clouds.
