Cohma yawned as he opened his gym locker, half asleep. He pulled off his shirt and bent down to untie his shoes. Jae rounded the corner and opened his locker, pulling his clothes off lazily until he was only wearing his boxers. He pulled out his gym clothes and started to dress, passively noting that Cohma’s locker wan almost directly across from his. He glanced over at the boy, blinking tiredly.
“Oh, Hey.” Cohma blinked and glanced up, coming back to the world for a moment. He saw one of the twins he had decided to stalk... talk to him? He glanced behind him but the other students were chatting among themselves.
“Hi... uh... Jae, right?” He asked once he confirmed he was the one being talked to.
“Yes sir.” Jae smiled sweetly, pulling on his shirt. “Uh...I’m sorry which one are you? You and your brother are just identical, I can’t tell you apart.” He said his cheeks turning the tiniest bit pink.
“Ah...” Cohma shifted, technically this was Toma’s class... but his ankle had been hurting so he was covering while Toma went to his english class. Should he... lie? Or not... :<
“Cohma, but shh...” He placed a finger to his lips and glanced around. “I’m supposed to be Toma.”
“Oh, I see.” Jae laughed lightly. “Why are you here instead of Toma?” Jae lowered his voice, moving closer to the dark haired boy.
“Toma hurt his ankle so I'm covering for him. He’s already almost failing, so he can't afford not to participate.” Cohma explained softly, finishing his shoe lace.
“Oh, wow. That’s so nice of you!” Jae grinned. He bounced and pulled on his gym shorts, bending over to get his shoes.
“Mh, if you say so. He’d do the same for me.” Cohma said obviously.
“Jae hurry up, you don’t want to be late.” Ravi came around the corner, fully dressed for the class in black and red knee shorts and a white shirt, the same as Jae save for Jae’s shorts were black and blue.
“Hold your horses, I’m going.” Jae gave him a playful look as he started to tie his shoes. The older twin looked at Cohma with a calculating expression, obviously staring as his gaze sparked recognition. Cohma blinked up at him and decided to play as Toma, looking away and standing pulling on his gym shirt without a word. Ravi observed him for a moment longer before taking a seat on the bench between the lockers.
“We’re playing dodge ball today.” Ravi said warily. Jae frowned.
“Oh… uhh.” He sighed.
“Relax. I won’t let anyone hurt you.” Ravi, pulled the boy’s head down, kissing his hair gently. “Just, play the game and I’ll take care of the rest.” A smile crept over Jae’s face.
“You spoil me brother.” He teased.
“Oh but of course. Anything for my little brother.”
“Pfft.” Jae made a face. “You’re a fruitcake.” He rolled his eyes and finished tying his shoe. “C...I mean, Toma are you almost ready?” Jae asked with a sly smile. Cohma offered a small smile and nodded slightly.
“Course.” He stood and gave his arms a bit of a stretch, making his way out to the gym.
The three of them ended up on the same team and Cohma sighed as he just stood off to the side of the gym. Toma never really actually played the games, so he was just going to stand there until he got out. Jae weaved through the crown of people, scooping up balls and throwing them hard in random directions hoping to hit someone while Ravi ran beside him, knocking away balls and legitimately hitting people. Jae saw a tall boy on the other team take aim at Cohma and stopped short. He turned and ran towards him, ready to take getting hit with the ball in Cohma’s place. He ran in front of him, bracing himself for the impact. Just as the boy hurled the ball at them, Ravi threw his, knocking the impending ball off course as he threw a second ball hard, hitting the other boy squarely in the face. Cohma blinked at Jae and Ravi, watching them keep the balls away.
“Ah... you didn’t need to do that.” Cohma said, surprised.
“Don’t worry about it.” Jae grinned. “We couldn’t have a soldier fall in battle.” He said in mock seriousness. “Right Ravi?” He turned to his brother. Ravi hurled another ball at a smaller boy, also nailing him in the face and watching in amusement as the boy trudged to the line of other people that had gotten out.
“Right.” He turned to Jae, answering him and proving he’d still been listening.
“Ah... okay...” Cohma said doubtfully. Just like Toma would >..< He was so good at this.
“Till the death!” Jae cried out as he picked up a ball and threw it at a shorter boy, who caught it.
“Ha I caught it!” He grinned. “You’re out.” Ravi looked the boy up and down with cool eyes. The boy dropped the ball Jae had thrown.
“O...oops I guess I dropped it. I’m out.” He said softly. :c
“That’s what I thought you said.” Ravi watched him go.
Cohma stared at Ravi deciding... he hadn’t been kidding about the stalking thing... not anymore. Bacuse... damn. Cohma nodded his head and crossed his arms thoughtfully. It was time to get serious. He wasn’t sure how to actually stalk someone... so he would just have to wing it.
“Isn’t that cheating?” Jae said uncertainly, watching the boy hurry off.
“Nope. You heard the man. He dropped it. Carry on brother.” Ravi assured him. He turned just in time to see a ball hurtling his way. He reached up a hand reflexively and caught it, throwing it back hard.
Cohma watched... wishing he had a camera... :< he would just have to replay Ravi’s beastliness in the comfort of his brain theater.
“Toma, come on. Move your ass.” Ravi looked over at him.
“Oh- oka- i mean bueah.” Cohma, tore himself away from his starring and struggled to do a good Toma move... o.o He turned red and started shifting away from them O.O.
“Come again?” Ravi asked, watching him.
“Gah!” Jae dodged an incoming ball, yelping in surprise. Ravi’s attention snapped back and he scooped up a ball a took care of the problem...like a sir, before returning his attention to Cohma.
“N- Nothing. Just leave me be. If I get hit I get hit.” Cohma said with a small huff as he looked away, face only going a darker shade of red. I’m failing as Toma! My own brothah... ;A; Damn this Ravi for being so distracting.
“Um...We’re on a team…” Ravi pointed out, frowning.
“Yes we are! And that means if we win, we win togethahhh!” Jae cheered. He threw a ball hard with blind force, hitting someone on the other team.
“Oh my God, I actually hit one!”
“I’m proud.” Ravi laughed, blocking a shot at Cohma. Their team was winning. Cohma crossed his arms and tried not to look at the twins, sidestepping just enough so a ball slid past his face. :< His eyes flickered over to Ravi and Jae and refused to leave. v.v
“Watch out.” Ravi turned to him. “They’re getting desperate now.” Ravi tugged on the collar of Cohma’s shirt, pulling the dark haired boy into him as another ball whizzed past them. Cohma made a soft squeaking sound, as his body was pressed against the taller boy’s, his face heating up instantly.
“Be careful. They’re not going to throw it softer just because you want to get out.” He said, not releasing Cohma.
“R-right. I know that.” Cohma said, instant butt hurt. “So I don't need you to tell me that!” He added, pulling away and stomping away glaring at everything, butt hurt. >..< He touched me... :F Ravi watched him in slight surprise, letting out a frustrated huff as he almost single handedly picked off people from the other team.
Cohma crossed his arms, easily sidestepping any stray balls that happened to come his way, not bothering to actually pick any up and throw them. He failed... Toma probably would have been like... eh... thanks. And then continued standing there... but nooo he had to be all angry and offensive about it. He automatically caught a ball that was aimed for his face and carelessly threw it back biting his lip. At this rate, everyone and their mother would know he wasn’t Toma. Jae cast a smile at him before letting out a yelp and jumping as a ball landed hard where his feet had been. Ravi slammed a ball into the boy’s gut.
“There you go, Toma.” Ravi said, glancing at him. Cohma blinked and glanced back, barely dodging another ball aimed for him. He looked away and wrinkled his nose as he resisted the urge to grab another ball and actually play the game. Toma wouldn’t do that. :<
The game ended when the bell rang, only a handful of students left on the other side. Cohma took a quick shower, dressing back up in his t shirt and black skinny jeans, pulling a hat over his damp dark brown hair.
“Hey! Ravi stop that!” Jae giggled speeding up his pace towards his locker as Ravi twirled up a towel and snapped it at his rear. He gave the older twin a challenging look before fumbling to open his locker and keep his towel on as it was the only thing covering his lower half. Ravi was dressed in a similar fashion with a white towel tucked tightly around his waist as he opened his locker to dress.
“I had fun today.” Jae announced happily. “How about you guys.”
“It was alright.” Ravi said, glancing over at Cohma.
“How about you?” Jae turned to him as well, pulling his regular shirt over his head and reaching for his jeans. Cohma stood and lifted his shoulders in a halfhearted shrug.
“Yeah, it was fun.” He said in his best, ‘i could care less’ Toma way.
“Considering you suck at it.” Ravi said passively. “Not bad, and it’s good you had fun.” Cohma winced, resisting the urge to tell him that he didn’t suck and he could go shove it- he bit his lip and looked away trying not to be butt hurt.
“Yeah...” He muttered, sounding butt hurt anyway. Ravi shook his golden brown and black hair out, sending water droplets everywhere as he pulled off his towel and massaged his hair dry.
“I kind of want to skip gym tomorrow.” He muttered, pulling on his shirt.
“Why?” Jae glanced up at him. “You love gym.”
“It’s not fun when I win every time.” Ravi replied, pulling on his boxers.
“Well maybe you can help me win next time?”
“I would still be winning.” Ravi said, giving him a look.
“Oh…” Jae’s eyebrows came together as he thought about what he’d said. “Well what would you do instead? I think our next unit is swimming...or maybe it’s hockey...I don’t know.” He let out a breath. Ravi pulled on his pants and was working on his shoes.
“Regardless.” He said. “It’s not like I really need to be here. I can afford to miss a couple times.”
“Me too then!” Jae cheered.
“No.”
“But… but…” Jae’s face fell.
“No.”
“You’d leave me to brave gym all by myself?” D: Jae gave him a sad look, his identical golden eyes shining. Ravi froze for a moment, thinking. He let out a sigh, having not thought of it that way.
“No...I guess not.”
“Well fine then, I don’t need you. I’ll just team up with Toma here and kick ass all by… with him.” Jae said with a sassy tone. Ravi snorted.
“Yeah, right.”
“Wait... what about teams?” Cohma asked looking up, having been blocking them out in favor of staring at them half naked. “Don't drag me into arguments!” he said holding up his hands. “Because it wasn’t me. I didn’t do it...nope...o,o but seriously... what?” He blinked realizing he was failing as Toma again. Ravi gave him a strange look.
“Are you sick or something…?” He asked, looking Cohma up and down.
“I was saying that we don’t need Ravi, because he wants to skip. We could kick ass by ourselves...well on a team together.” Jae explained cheerfully.
“No. No you couldn’t.” Ravi disagreed. “You’re both somewhat….lacking in the sports skill department.” He said, running a comb through his hair. Cohma puffed up at the insult, keeping himself from going at it like he normally would. Be a Toma... be the Toma... I am the Toma...
“Say whatever you like. Jae, we’ll just have to show him.” Cohma said coolly, looking away and feeling proud once again.
“Yeah!” Jae cheered, a competitive spark in his eyes.
“Oh?” Ravi said, amused. “You put more effort into that sentence than your dodge ball game.” He said, turning back to gather his gym clothes and shove them back into his locker. Cohma gave a shrug and stood up from the bench, tapping the tip of his shoe on the ground.
“If you say so. Anyway, I'll see you guys later.” Cohma said halfheartedly, resisting the urge to check them out one last time and just turn away, leaving :<.
