Place of no Fear
by Elizabeth Newton
What will it be this place of no fear?
An ocean of clouds, a palace of gold.
Where no man again will shed a tear,
Where none of us shall ever grow old.
We will surely see radiant, glistening seas,
Under the most graceful skies.
An exquisite mansion to which we have keys
This is all true, I tell you no lies.
All that I love will be there to share
All wrapped up in golden ribbon.
White satin clothing and silk of rare
No guilt will lie for we’re forgiven.
What will I do standing in His courts,
Will I dance before Him, or stand still in awe?
Will I run, skip and jump, and play all sorts?
Whatever I do, it’s Him I adore.
I can only imagine this home of no fear
Where the lost are found and the blind men see.
Have peace for this time is surely near
Our captive ones will soon be set free!
What will it be this place of no fear?
A field of greens, and streets of gold.
No pain, no sorrow, not a lonely tear,
We will never again be left in the cold.
