In the chill fall air

There's a change in the air
it's far cooler now
Gusty winds watery sun
squally rain showers too
Bright green making way
for red orange yellow
As the leaves begin to turn
falling gently through the air
In piles they lay around
crunching under footsteps
Of those wrapped up
in the chill fall air
