I'm tied to you
Even though you broke my heart
You threw me away like confetti
And forced our paths to part
Deep long loathing
And lethargic lust
I'm tied in this misery
I'm caught in this gust
You smashed my heart
And watched it scatter
You tied up the pieces
like a wind chime that chatters
The sound of my heartbreak
Every step I walk in the wind
The pain is so piercing
And the future looks grim
I cant pick up my pieces
And put them in a box
I fell in love with you one day
And now my heart is lost

'Every step I walk in the wind...' I really loved this poem. Sad of course but quite literally heart-felt. and I will return to read it again and again. A great piece of poetry.
Thank you
