Tom couldn't be aware of the importance of the past. Know about kings and queens, politics, ancient roman's or catastrophic events such as the sinking of the Titanic. How might he know about anything that didn't touch him or change his tough or smooth world. Meanwhile, others around him, struggled to get on with their living; as well as their forgiving. They see, whose feet touch the floors of industry or finance and caring just how their world is changing. Climate changes, genetically modified food whilst they live in a world that they have no control of. They voted for someone to take on a system then improve it....make it better....work on what has gone before.
