I am here at last.
When my family come
I am happy too.
Some don’t reach
the blest borderline.
Some die every time;
some die in the river,
some die in the trucks.
Just luck to get here
to pick the fruit
or harvest rice.
We ate only this
on the way.
Some don’t come
all the way to safety.
Some die of starvation,
some die of the water,
some die of thirst.
If my family come,
I am happy too.
