The Dis-harmonic Sympathy Orchestra

We blow the drums

and beat the horns,

and scrape the cellos

across the bows.

We keep time

with a metro-gnome,

whose attention

is distracted by tik-tok.

The orchestra leader

kneels behind the

boiling kettle drums,

waiting for them to sing.

And yet, the conductor

is still "El Maestro".
