As the spiral tightens

we forget whether

we’re travelling up

or down.

                            Whether we’re circling

                                      the final drain

                                              or reaching some summit,

                                                            a nirvana,

if

you

like.

                                                      As the spiral titans

                                are some kind of god

                 tying themselves

in knots,

it doesn’t fucking matter.
