Belief

I believe we are all a little broken;
Some in hearts,
Some in minds,
Some in souls,
Some physically,
Some mentally,
Some emotionally,
Some in every way.

I believe we are all a little better;
Some of us fixed with cement,
Some with glue,
Some with string,
Some with thread straining at the seams.

I believe we all have someone to fix us;
Some have friends,
Some have family,
Some have better halves,
Some have music,
Some have themselves.

And yet there are
Some hearts,
Some minds,
Some souls,

That lie shattered and broken
Unsure what to do,
Who to turn to,
How to carry on.

Yet some carry on,
Some fix themselves,
Some have others to piece them back together.

Sadly some give up and end it all;
Some with pills,
Some with rope,
Some with vehicles,
Some with razors.

I believe there is always
Someone,
Something,
Some reason,
To keep you going.

No matter what you think,
What you feel,
What you believe,
There is a reason to go on.

Don't realise when it is too late.
