How long did it take you to perfect that smile?
How long did it take them to dress you in that style?
Is that pose natural; all you?
Or is it something they told you to do?
Do you like the clothes they made you wear?
Do you even like what they've done to your hair?
Smoky blue eyes with a false lipstick smile
How long will it take you to remove all that makeup? Probably a while.
Do you even like the magazine you're shooting for?
Do you feel fake and false as you stagger out the door?
Do you take diet pills to make you sick?
If so is it because they told you to lose weight real quick?
Have they ever told you you're not pretty enough?
Have you had it with all of this stuff?
Is being a model all you dreamed it would be?
Now that you have your dream do you finally see?

I stumbled on the metre of
I stumbled on the metre of this once or twice and I think you could tighten the rhyming. But that said I fully endorse the sentiment of the piece. It reminds me of a beautiful song by Jewel called You Are What You Are.
It's a tough profession to be in and the sooner designer stop trying to make young women look like pre-pubescent boys the better we'll all be for it.
Well captured ideas and use of the subject.
