Flashes of colour streaks of paint
Some lines vivid, some lines faint

Open up my eyes and allow me to see

Oh writer astound these parts of me
Allow your words to linger and never leave me be
Incite new worlds into my mind
And in your pages I become confined
Stir my soul with words of power
Continually amaze my mind with every hour
