The Traveller

I want to be a  wandering traveler
No place to call my own
Except the wilderness and all the world would be my home.
 
I want to explore and walk the world alone
Time to myself going where I choose
There's no time left to lose!
 
I would have a backpack and a tent 
All pitched up on my back
Only a few possessions
No need for bric a brac.
 
All the places I could see
Only the lowliest of transport
No planes, just ferries and buses for me.
 
 I would travel on foot as much as I could
And take in the rapidly changing
And breath taking scenery
As I should.
 
I would brave all kinds of weather
As I travel from place to place
How I long for the wind or the sun or snow in my face.
 
I want to visit The Pyramids, there's so much to see!
Or should I visit the Taj Mahal?
Should I go to Australia or to Bengal?
So many wonders and places I'll see them all, trust me.
 
Yet as much as I want to be a traveler
I think I would get lonely
With so much time on my own.
 
So... Will you walk the world with me
So I am not all alone?
