My car is ill again :(

I’ve had my car for 6 long years… I bought it shiny new
I’d done my homework on new cars… I’d looked at quite a few

The salesman gave a top sales pitch… he really went to town
The brand he said was very good… it wouldn’t let me down

So I parted with my hard earned cash… and put the car in gear
And I drove out from the showroom… with a smile from ear to ear

At one month old the gear box went… whilst in a traffic jam
Soon followed by the steering column… and problems with the cam

Next, the fuel injectors… and an issue with the door
Then lots of little niggly faults… it’s not funny any more!

My mechanics name is Barry… he is my new best mate
He always rubs his hands together… when I pull in through the gate

It’s not that I do lots of miles… I don’t get out that much
But today it’s back with Barry… being fitted with a clutch

I’m off now to the cash machine… but I’ts making me feel ill
And I’ll try not to start crying… when he presents me with his bill
