Chapter 1
Sophie's parents were hurrying her to school, it was her first day, and they did not want her to be late. When they reached the school, both parents and their kids were kind of anxious. When the gates opened, there was a little excitement in the air, with all anxious faces rushing in. Sophie was very happy until then, but as soon as she saw her parents leaving, started crying like anything. Sophie's mother, Clara almost had tears in her eyes, but controlled herself. Her father tried to console both of them.
After her parents' had left Sophie felt like a lost child amongst strangers, she started scattering her things around, with her water bottle messing them further, and she started crying again, "Mummy! Mummy!" The teacher kind of looked angry but being a kindergarten teacher, she had to atleast not translate that anger on her face, she tried to control herself very much with all the chaos going on there! She felt like she was in a mad house with all the children doing this and that, to add to that the little kid Sophie was crying and she just felt like running away from all this madness, so after trying unsuccessfully to distract the kids with some playthings, got the help of the caretaker for kids and got some semblance out the place.
Sophie saw the stuffed bear and instantly stopped crying, Michael was just shaking it at her face. She just pulled it out of his hands and started admiring the bear doll. When the parent's arrived, the teacher gave advice to each of them, especially to Sophie's parents for her behavior was the worst of all. They nodded in agreement and took her home.
Sophie was a fun kid, very inquisitive, sensitive, loving, friendly, and all, and anybody would like her instantly, excepting her behavior on the first day in school, she was a well-behaved child, in most ways. She and Michael got along well, for his toys always distracted her from crying.
