Everything & Nothing

I sit...
looking into the distance
Understanding the true nature 
of all things
The cycle...
arises , passes
What is born , dies 
& is reborn...
Suffering 
leads to happiness
Pleasure 
leads to pain 
The impermanent cycle
The impermanent , interdependent 
cycle of life...
The sea and the sky,
Water & Air,
Apart as one, 
merging in complete undivided union,
Blending differences to produce rain 
to feed the rivers 
to return to the sea...
The fire needing the oxygen
carried by the wind that extinguishes it's flames.
We turn and everything around us turns 
with our move & mood
the world mirror reacts to our turning
We are just particles reflected...
We smile & smiles return 
We laugh & there are tears of joy 
Our anger rips through others to be shared...
Like a radar we send forth what we eventually receive,
Daily bread comes and goes
Ups & downs ebb & flow 
We are already what we want to be
There is movement in stillness
I am everything
Everything is nothing
& nothing is free
