Here on Earth

The tandem tricks

Of weather’s wicked way;

Comes the swirling wind

Comes the soaking rain

BOGOF

The deals of nature

Free gratis and

Deadly twins

In winter sets the sun

In brooding darkness Ice will come.

BOGOF

The baking desert sand

The melting rocks beneath an unforgiving sun

Man must crawl as bowed by one

Tinder-dry and burnt to over-done

BOGOF

Up in eternal emptiness

Somewhere distant in thhe heavens way above

The silence screams a warning.

Far away In a noiseless void

A mega-sun goes super nova

With cosmic death

New life is forged

In the world at present there will always be extremes, but still rich provision. This universe is 'running down'. I wasn't sure what was in your mind on the last line. New life comes daily to souls, and will come to the universe, but did you mean a star-death bringing some regeneration from itself? Rhiannon

Yes, most of the elements and the stuff we are made of were fused in ancient supanova stars.  That for me makes the wonder of God's creation even more awsome.

You know, the evidence against a 'Big Bang' is very strong now, and creation 'ex nihilo' is no problem for the real God! Rhiannon

I have never totally accepted the 'big bang' and I hope my writing doesn't give that impression. One day he will tell me the answer, but for now my frail human mind would not be able to cope.  Man things in linear time. God is alpha and omega...without beginning or end.

Great choice of words, very effective. You really summarise the wonder of nature, even to the supanovas, and the big bang!
