Feeling Blue (Words Once Said}
Red faced, ruddy blushing
Words so black once uttered
Ill thought selfish feelings
Thoughtless, others crushing
Now in shame descending
Apologies overdue
Embarrassed self-defending
All alone, feeling blue
Naïve, unpolished, green
No one else considered
Now the real me is seen
Hence my ego withers
Into myself I sink
I wish I’d not been born
Instead of in the pink
Fading in lifeless fawn

Cleverly put. Though shame
Cleverly put. Though shame faced can seek grace, and then revives still humble and apologetic, but with what colour in the heart and step?! Rhiannon

"born" and "lifeless" in the
"born" and "lifeless" in the same stanza. That's good.
