Silently hanging in the heavens
The attendant moons serve
As Jupiter does the bidding
And Galileo saw their wonder
Through the 'scope he named them
Pendant jewels adorn the cosmic giant
Long after man has left them
They remain in patient reverence
Around the mighty Solar God
