Hurry, Hurry Christmas
Endless hours dreaming
Calendar slowly ticking
Weeks of eager longing
A sentinel child hoping
Glittered dreams ascending
Creaking on the landing
Event horizon holding
Frozen time beholding
Stasis eyes grip the night
Exhausted yearning
Parents’ fiscal earnings
Black Hole disappearing
Overdue dawn creaks
Christmas Morn doth speak
Dared whispers fearing
Pausing just to ponder
Santa’s sooty step
How’d he do it?
We live in a flat!

It certainly is a puzzle, Graham. I always wonder how, with his fat girdle, he manages to come down narrow chimneys.
Cheers, Luigi
