I See Something Special
Upon the Thin Blue Line
Imprinted on my mind
‘for one time only’
Nevermore to be
High born shrouds of mystery
Painted just for me.
‘Come look, look and see!
Alas! Time will not repeat
This wonderous form for me.
Nature’s divine artist never still
Brushes the canvas anew.
Bilious blooms on canvas Blue.
Waste not the precious light
Nor tarry in the ink-black night
The photon-fed messages
Were written for me and you
Life’s tiny droplet water
Tinted white, blinding light.

Nice work
I enjoyed reading this. A reminder that everything in nature is unique and lasts only seconds as light and weather conditions change and time and seasons advance.
'Waste not the precious light' ... we forget just how precious that the nature around us is, no matter how simple it may appear.

The mobile sky can be so
The mobile sky can be so calming! Yet another benefit from the simple, yet amazing little water molecule so well designed for its roles in life! Rhiannon

So much we miss if we are not
So much we miss if we are not aware, nature captures some of the best paintings, because they're so unique, yet sadly gone as quickly as they came.
Wonderful descriptions in your poem Graham and thank you for sharing.
Jenny.
