Loneliness Lies Sleeping
I sometimes wonder why
I write such sorrow
Dark thoughts from the deep
Emptied loneliness making me cry
Yesterdays, todays, a feared tomorrow
Emptying words of sadness that make me weep
I am bound to keep you till I die
Every passing day I plough an empty furrow
Greedily devouring, every word to keep
‘Dear Diary’…that makes me shudder
You never been my guide
Just empty pages all set to go
Keeping every word I utter
I come to you to try and hide
Each page cries inky tears of woe
Shredded sheets cry from the gutter
Still I write, and in you confide.
I don’t know why these words I’m keeping
Loneliness lies sleeping

Graham, is this current, or
Graham, is this current, or memory, or imaginary?. Empty and lonely of ourselves, but unearned grace, and lift; in humble receiveing. Such be yours in the pilgrimmage and all who read! Rhiannon
