I’ve never been able to hit the mark

In fact, I’m a lousy shot

My distant brain and vision are far apart

Wobbling guesswork’s all I’ve got

Keen-eyed archers always hit the inner ring

Unerringly accurate, the bullseye kissing

My wayward arrow never finds the bloody thing

Without exception the target always missing

So, Robin when recruiting, please pass me by

I will always plough no-score farrows

Unless you want to let me try
