Playing Pinball People
Dodging dog-dirt
On the streets of gold.
Pinballing along,
Careering on.
Who let’s them beg?
How dare the prick
My conscience.
Failures of society
They leech my soul.
Now the Chuggers
So saintly do they plead.
Do I have time ?
Not for others.
That’s all for me.
In my mind I mark them
I plot my homeward course.
Mapping and avoiding.
Walking twice as far.
The it hits me,
Scribe or Pharisee
Take your pick.
My pinball life
Just makes me sick.

The issues are complex though
The issues are complex though aren't they? Though we may be willing to not just avoid, we may not be the best to help, but support those who are working and running organisations well to offer friendship and help? Rhiannon
