is, as it is...like war
Forever departing
Mere "goodbyes", leave a scar
to another one's lone harrowing

Huddled in...as we remember
In our moments of the gathering
Whilst the memories we'll both treasure
Is the absence of reuniting

heaving on...not a looking
And inevitably marching
Like Soldiers, do they say we are?
Went forth, whilst leaving nothing

Yet by the end...is, as it is
like war, it leaves us weeping
But in the end of every farewell kiss
Brings the memory, of our lovely happenings
