I am not the same.
Your love, however brief,
Has branded my mind,
My eyes . . . my soul.

When gone, I think of only you.
When lonely, my love rises-for you.
When my eyes are shut-I see your smile,
As if I've looked at the sun too long.

Aware of the strength that
