Another day in the office

The boss-who's-not-my-boss-any-more now knows I'm engaged and likely
to be leaving soon. She was very pleased and supportive of my plans.
That's really nice. She is one of the few people in my life who have
always been encouraging and believed in me. I will miss her. I will
especially miss her laugh that echoes down the corridor.

I keep thinking I have the day off tomorrow as usual, but alas I don't.
I have swapped my day to Thursday this week ready for the interview.
Kind of looking forward to it but nervous at the same time. It's a
shame it is a full time job; I like my part-time lifestyle. It also
pays less than my present part-time job. Sad but true. The things I do
for love.

Will find out from Rug later whether he's travelling this week and
when. It would be a great experience for him if he did get to go to
Japan. I don't think he's too keen though - he's a home-loving kinda
guy.
