Georgina 6/8

It was two weeks before Georgina turned up again at the red village. Everyone crowded round eagerly to hear what tricks were going to be played on the humans this time.
“They’ve had some time to get over their problems, so now is the right moment to go back for some more fun. Same rules as before open the ordinary box first then the red one.”
The same six goblins snatched their spell boxes before listening to their individual instructions.
“That Jennifer Jane kid came round here, but we soon saw her off,” said one of the village goblins with a grin. “We’ve lived here years and are ever so nice really,” he said in a quavering voice, as he imitated the oldest goblin.
Georgina looked at him. “Are you sure she doesn’t suspect anything, that kid can be real trouble.”
“Nah, flew off as quietly as kiss your hand, on that tin thing of hers what’s got them little fat wheels on it!”
“Why did she come here in the first place then?
“Easy, we’re the only red village for miles around. Anything goes wrong them humans blame us. Mind you they are sometimes right,” he smaned.
From their point of view, the next goblin attack went smoothly, with one exception. Ever since the first day that they’d escaped from Happy Valley, the smallest goblin had wanted to play a trick on the weedy looking troll who now lived under Lurgin’s bridge.
On this occasion he was in luck. He’d been given the task of opening his first spell box at Lurbridge and once he’d done that he hurried down to the river and listened to see if he could hear the troll snoring. Once satisfied that he was soundly asleep, he crept under the bridge and began throwing paint around, making a lovely mess of Gordon’s decorations.
He was having such a wonderful time that he became a bit careless and tripped over one of the empty paint tins. It clattered down the riverbank and fell into the water with a splash.
Gordon woke up with a snort and looked round to see what on earth was making the noise. He was just in time to see a small red goblin figure disappear.
