The trouble with elves 5/10

Thankfully her request to go to the fog in the Therdle worked normally and she was soon flying up the stream towards Wilfred and his pool.
As she was beginning to suspect, the pool looked similar to the way it had when she’d first seen it. The quayside had disappeared; Wilfred wasn’t wearing his cloak, nor was the new boulder with the pump under it in place. The giant was crying miserably into his pool, not even laughing at his reflection.
Jennifer Jane hurried past him towards her home. She was getting more and more worried as time went by. She turned the last corner in the forest path and could at last see into her parents’ garden. There was only one problem, the garden wasn’t there any more.
None of the neighbour’s houses or gardens were there either! Through the gap in the trees there was nothing to be seen but a very large field with several horses grazing in it. Beyond that were more fields, some with grazing cattle and others planted with crops. There was a larger pond than the one she remembered, although there was a May tree in roughly the right place, but it was far too small for a tree house.
This was nothing like any of the adventures she’d had previously. She sat down and began to think about what could have happened. It didn’t take her very long to come to a conclusion. Once again she seemed to have gone back in time, she supposed it was all to do with meeting Eroin’s dad, after all things had only started to go wrong after she’d met him.
How far back in the past was another matter, if her parents’ house hadn’t been built yet it could be a very long time. She made up her mind, there was only one thing to do, she’d have to fly back to the Witches’ Home and ask for help there.
