My father’s a window cleaner
My grandfather as well
So I started cleaning windows
It’s just a job so what the hell?
But when I first climbed up my ladder
Someone put out all my lights
When I came to I realised
I was terrified of heights
Too late now the die is cast
The family has me in its grip
If I quit now they’d be ashamed
So I must get on with it
With just my bucket and a cloth
I work now the whole day round
Cleaning windows all the time
For I the answer found
I’ve started my own business
I’m unique I’ve got it made
Now I specialise in bungalows
To ply my family trade.
