Oh no, the same story

For a time i was alone.
My heart, a void;
Containing love and affection
But with no one to focus my attentions on.
My life was empty.

Now, my beating heart
Can be heard by anyone who wishes to roam close enough.
The reason?
You

You make me feel so complete
When we are together,
And yet, so empty when apart.
How can one person
Rule over me so easily?!

I have known you but a short while
But my heart tells me
That we have been together for a lifetime.
I wish that could be so.

My only worry is the distance between our mortal selves.
Although our spirits may lie
Cradled in thewarmth of each other at night,
Our bodies lie miles apart.

Although i know
That if our wills are strong
We can make it work,
I cannot help feeling defeated.

Everything I've ever wanted, needed
In my life
Lives inside you
I could not bare to live without that.

So i will do my best for you,
My love.
I will do everything
Within my power
To ensure that
Whether it be tomorrow, next week,
Or next year
We shall be together

And when that time
Comes to pass
May God allow us
Never to leave each other's arms.
