You are a noun, verb, adjective to me
the words in the book I never wrote
the loving way the sentences curled into each other
like waves
you and me
under the sheet
I watch you sleep
and wish that one day
just one day
You'll wake up and feel my absence
in the space beside you
I am the book you never read till the end
the sentence that never ended
You could have if you'd let me
You were the rock to my paper
and now I'm blank, unwritten
missing your weight
