Seeing a family member
in a casket is so sad.
You just see them lying
there.
Eyes closed, lips shut.
What else could we do but, cry.
We just spent these last couple
days with this person.
We knew they were dying but, it
didn’t sync in that fast.
We were just going on with
our normal lives.
Then, boom……
It happens.
Now all the family members
want to show up at a funeral.
You know the ones
we haven’t seen in years.
Yeah those family members.
They just pop up out of no where.
It’s important to spend time with your family
members before a funeral.
Even if it has to be on holidays or
birthdays.
But, don’t just show up at
a funeral.
No matter how hard your
life is right now.
Your family needs your comfort
and you didn’t even know it.
How shameful of you?
You’re so selfish and unppreciative.
Your family member just died
and you want to have an
attitude.
I hope you cry at that funeral.
You need to.
That’s what our family members would say.
But, they don’t know that you don’t like to deal with deaths.
See, it’s two sides of the story.
The person who they called selfish didn’t want to go.
Well, because they don’t like funerals or dealing with deaths period.
There is nothing wrong with that.
Family members need to understand their side of the story to.
Every one is not the same.
That doesn’t mean that they’re careless.
So, don’t just go start calling them names because of what they done.
Look at both sides to.
Either way it goes……
These days are short.
Please remember that and enjoy every one of these
days that you get…
P.S (This is from experience….But, this didn’t just happen. This was a couple months ago. )
