THE BREAK OF DAWN
The silence of the night is broken,
By the morning's light,
It is the break of dawn,
It is the break of dawn.
The cock used to crow,
But now caws the crow,
The birds used to chirp
But now sounds the horns as sounds of harps.
The muddy ground is not laid of grass bed
But now it is laid with a concrete bed.
The clean air no longer soothes the eyes and nose
But now the pollution smoulders and chokes.
The sun will rise the sun will set
And come back again to break the dawn.
Days will remain days and nights will remain nights,
But the dawn will break every morn' without a bombshell.
The word 'break' is so harsh
But the break of Dawn is so sweet.
