Daisy.

Today I went to visit my Brother at the care home. As we pulled up in the carpark, five of the old ladies were at the main door smoking, we took in his shopping and said, to all the ladies, “Hi” And they replied, “Hello,”
We went back into the car, the window was down and the engine off, then Daisy said to the group, “I really wish now I had learnt to use a computer and a mobile phone…..”
It seemed like she was alone, and I said to Paul quietly next to me in the car, “Now is the time we all need computers, smart phones, for various types of communication,” He said, “It’s very difficult when you are older to learn the computer,” I said, “I know,” I looked again at Daisy, and thought of how much she was missing out on, and who could have foreseen 2020, when everyone used social media, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Reddit, Skype, YouTube, WhatsApp, Myspace, Facetime etc. I mentioned to Paul that, “Portal advertised on telly, follows you as you move.” I went on to say to Paul, “A group I’m in, has asked me to download Zoom, I don’t mind as it will broaden my horizon.” Paul said, “Years ago I didn’t want a mobile phone, but I’m glad I got one when I did, for now I would have struggled like Daisy.”

Paragraphing first dialogue
It'll be great if you could add paragraph spaces between your dialogue. As it is, it's quite hard to read as a bulk,

My mother-in-law (100!) is in
My mother-in-law (100!) is in a care home, and visitors aren't able to go in. She can't hear much, and we were concerned she would be very disturbed, not understanding, and as she had seemed very dependant on our visits. She can't hear well on the phone, nor hear or see video clips well probabaly if they try to show her. But though only having site in one eye, she loves reading, and so we do big-print card/letters about every other day, and each always has a little photo of us on it, and she, thankfully, seems content and has accepted the change.
So 'old fashioned' wasy of communicating can still help! Though ease of modern printing from computer helps too. Rhiannon
