Unfair. Part One.
I was in my favourite card shop, and just outside I could hear a young woman shouting she was shouting to a security guard, I went closer to the door and I could hear her saying to the older man, “Stop following me, everywhere I go,” I tried to make out what was happening, I thought he needs to go and find the man that is bothering her, lots of other people outside had come near too, and as she still continued to shout it all became a bit clearer, she was shouting at him! “LEAVE ME ALONE, STOP FOLLOWING ME IN ALL THE SHOPS!” He looked at least twice her age, and he was a different nationality to her, her mother was with her and was begging her to, “Walk away and come into the shop,” Where I was, but it seemed she was to wound up, suddenly she punched him in the face and ran into the shop where I was standing, he then ran after her and with his open hand hit her at the back of her head near the crown and he said, “How dare you hit me!” She dropped her handbag and mobile phone onto the floor of the shop and ran back outside to him and they started to hit each other.
People came from everywhere, sides were instantly taken, they were quickly separated and everyone seem to be on her side, she was really, really upset, a woman came into the shop with the young woman, the young woman said tearfully, “I want to call the police, the other woman who didn’t see what happened but had come in with her and her mum, said, “I will call the police for you,” And added, “He should NOT have hit you!” Another angry woman shouted, “If he had done that to my daughter, I would stab him!” I kept quiet, really, I should have stood up for him, for what right did that woman have, to punch him in the face? She had NO right at all! I watch Judge Judy all the time and she always says, “You put your hand on him/her first,” And in her courts that puts them always in the wrong. It does make me SO angry when Women think they can hit Men and think it’s OK.
The only ‘good’ thing was that her punch was outside with lots of CCTV to capture her assault on him and if the shop doesn’t have cameras, then his won’t be on camera. When I bought my cards soon after, when I came out of the shop, neither of them could be seen. I hope he doesn’t get arrested for assault, as it was, she who assaulted him first, but I think he will lose his job, as he was in uniform and at work at the time.
