School days

Uniformed collective pile from teethed gates
Swirls of cigarette smoke entwine
Above illegal heads
Kisses are exchanged for handholding
And promise of verbal school headlines
The odd kick and punch
Adding credibility to tallying daily scores
Swarms are slowly dispersed
By the aged throaty threatening
Of million year old teachers
As they fight their way to chilled beer pumps
The school day is over
But the evening is just beginning
As lies are belched fourth
To unbelieving parents ears
Girls wearing lipstick and little else
Wait in darkened shop doorways
Boys wearing stolen aftershave
Rendezvous with teenage sin
