Candy

When I was small and love was not for me, my candy I
would hold
I would guard it close beside me and with my treasure
I stood bold
And as I grew and looked at life the candy was my
treasure
And with it came the games I played in this world so
full of pleasure
But then this girl came into my life and my games were
not to be
For she took away my candy as I held her close to me
She said the candies not so sweet if I’m not by your
side
But I will give you sweetness that you have never
tried
She said the pleasure she could give would never be
surpassed
And with it will comes the love she held so deep inside her heart
But if you should ever wander and take candy as your
sweet
Your life would be without me for my heart would stop
its beat.
